Very thick rugged cases, wallet cases with cards in the back, and metal or metal-plated cases are where magnetic charging struggles for everyone, not just us. If your case already works with a magnetic car mount, it will work here.

About one full charge for most phones. The cell is 5000mAh and roughly 3600mAh reaches your phone after wireless transfer losses. If a brand tells you a 5000mAh unit gives you two or three full charges, they are describing the cell, not your phone.

It gets warm, and so does every wireless charger, because some energy always leaves as heat. What you want to avoid is the kind of hot that comes from misaligned coils, which is what the magnet ring is there to prevent. If it ever gets uncomfortable to hold, stop using it and email us.
